Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted over at Breaking the Spine!

Better When He's Bad by Jay Crownover
Better When He's Bad (Welcome to the Point, #1)
Release Date: June 17, 2014
Publisher: William Morrow
Series: Welcome to the Point #1

Description from Goodreads:
Welcome to the Point

There’s a difference between a bad boy and a boy who’s bad . . . meet Shane Baxter.

Sexy, dark, and dangerous, Bax isn’t just from the wrong side of the tracks, he is the wrong side of the tracks. A criminal, a thug, and a brawler, he’s the master of bad choices, until one such choice landed him in prison for five years. Now Bax is out and looking for answers, and he doesn’t care what he has to do or who he has to hurt to get them. But there’s a new player in the game, and she’s much too innocent, much too soft…and standing directly in his way.

Dovie Pryce knows all about living a hard life and the tough choices that come with it. She’s always tried to be good, tried to help others, and tried not to let the darkness pull her down. But the streets are fighting back, things have gone from bad to worse, and the only person who can help her is the scariest, sexiest, most complicated ex-con The Point has ever produced.

Bax terrifies her, but it doesn’t take Dovie long to realize that some boys are just better when they’re bad.

Why I'm Waiting:
I have several reasons for being all kinds of excited for this book. It looks awesome. That description? Makes me break out the grabby hands every single time I read it. I mean, ahem, "Sexy, dark, and dangerous." And ohmygod. ALL OF IT. Looks so. Amazing. Just. Ahhhh! I also love the name Bax. Plus, this book is by Jay Crownover. I heart her and her books so freaking hard. (For real, if you haven't started on the Marked Men series yet, you need to get on that. Seriously. Now. DO IT.)

So yeah. This book looks like a special brand of awesome, you know?

Waiting on Wednesday #24

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine!

Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater
Sinner
Expected Publication: July 1, 2014
Publisher: Scholastic Press
Series: The Wolves of Mercy Falls #4

Description from Goodreads:

A standalone companion book to the internationally bestselling Shiver Trilogy.

Sinner follows Cole St. Clair, a pivotal character from the #1 New York Times bestselling Shiver Trilogy. Everybody thinks they know Cole's story. Stardom. Addiction. Downfall. Disappearance. But only a few people know Cole's darkest secret -- his ability to shift into a wolf. One of these people is Isabel. At one point, they may have even loved each other. But that feels like a lifetime ago. Now Cole is back. Back in the spotlight. Back in the danger zone. Back in Isabel's life. Can this sinner be saved?

Why I can't wait:
The Shiver trilogy has a special place in my heart. It really, really does. Shiver was that book that I'd been seeing at the library all the time and kept passing up because I'm the freaking pickiest person ever, and then decided to grab one time--like, a year after seeing it for the first time. I enjoyed it. So then I got Linger from the library. Loved that one even more. Then I died while waiting for Forever. Got that for Christmas in 2011, before I started my blog. Read it, cried, and accepted that the series was over. Cole was my favorite character in that trilogy. And now he gets his own book. I am both SUPER excited for this book, but I'm kind of scared, too. I was cool with the story being over. I wasn't one of those people who was like OH HEY ANOTHER BOOK I NEED IT. But, I mean...I can't just let this book pass without giving it a shot. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what Maggie did with Cole's story.

So, as for why I'm excited, let's list the reasons:
- I adore Cole
- Maggie's writing is beautiful
- How can I not read the ending to Cole's story?
- I loved the Shiver trilogy
- Because I can.

Oh, and fun fact: I totally cried when I saw this cover. This book is going to hurt my heart, I think.

What are you waiting on this week?

Waiting on Wednesday #23

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine!

The Promise of Amazing by Robin Constatine
The Promise of Amazing
Expected Publication: December 31, 2013
Publisher: Balzer + Bray

Description from Goodreads:

Wren Caswell is average. Ranked in the middle of her class at Sacred Heart, she’s not popular, but not a social misfit. Wren is the quiet, “good” girl who's always done what she's supposed to—only now in her junior year, this passive strategy is backfiring. She wants to change, but doesn’t know how.

Grayson Barrett was the king of St. Gabe’s. Star of the lacrosse team, top of his class, on a fast track to a brilliant future—until he was expelled for being a “term paper pimp.” Now Gray is in a downward spiral and needs to change, but doesn’t know how.

One fateful night their paths cross when Wren, working at her family’s Arthurian-themed catering hall, performs the Heimlich on Gray as he chokes on a cocktail weenie, saving his life literally and figuratively. What follows is the complicated, awkward, hilarious, and tender tale of two teens shedding their pasts, figuring out who they are—and falling in love.

Why I can't wait:
This book looks several degrees of adorable. That alone brings out my grabby hands. Plus, this is a debut and I like trying out new authors. NEW THINGS ARE FUN. Also, this cover...I want it. To pet. To look at. To have and to hold on my shelf for all eternity. So yeah. And she saves his life! I like that. I like the fact that this is about love, too. I LIKE A LOT OF THINGS ABOUT THIS ONE. Which is why I want to read it. Or, ahem, which is why I can' t wait to read it. ;)

What are you waiting on this week? Let me know!

Waiting on Wednesday #22

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine!

Bitter Sweet Love by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Bitter Sweet Love (The Dark Elements, #0.5)
 Release Date: December 1, 2013
Publisher: Harlequin Teen

Description from Goodreads:
In a sizzling prequel novella to her new series THE DARK ELEMENTS, #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout draws readers into the extraordinary, irresistible world of Wardens and demons.

Dez wasn't just Jasmine's crush. A gargoyle Warden like Jas, he helped her come to terms with her destiny—fending off demons and maintaining balance between good and evil. He was her everything...right until the moment he disappeared without a trace. It didn't help that Jas's father had just announced that she and Dez would one day be mated. Hard not to take that personally.

And now he's back, three years older, ten times hotter, ready to pick up exactly where they left off. But Jas isn't taking that risk again. Dez has seven days to meet all her conditions and earn back her trust. Seven days filled with terrifying danger and sweet temptation. Seven days to win her heart—or shatter it all over again...

Why I can't wait:
Um. Have you met me? I love JLA. And her books. They are awesome sauce, just like the author. But aside from that, I read a short preview thingy for this, and the teasers Jen posts on her blog, and goodness gracious. This book. Novella. Whatever. Ahhhhh. I neeeeeed it. Plus, I'm lucky enough to have an ARC of White Hot Kiss, and I think I want to read this one before I jump into that one. I think. We'll see how long this restraint lasts. Either way, I CANNOT WAIT. Cannot. It's not possible. Waaaah.

Since that was a novella, I think I should pair it with another novella...

Needing Her by Molly McAdams
Needing Her
 Release Date: December 23, 2013
Publisher: William Morrow Impulse

Description from Goodreads:
She’s the Girl Next Door

Maci Price isn’t really into relationships. Having four very protective older brothers has always made having a boyfriend very difficult, anyway. But her friend is set on finding her the perfect guy – and thinks the mysterious Connor Green is the perfect pick.

He’s Her Brother’s Best Friend

Connor Green is trying to find himself again. He loved then lost and it’s time for him to pick up the pieces. His brooding is making his friends crazy, but, Maci Price, who has grown up into a gorgeous and incredibly sexy woman, is about to break the spell.

They’re Made for Each Other

When Maci starts up old pranks to get Connor out of his slump, an all out war leads to a night that will break all their rules, and a relationship they must keep hidden. Together they’re electric. Apart they’re safe. And soon they’ll find they’re exactly what the other needs.

A fabulous, fun, and sexy, New Adult novella from New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams. If you loved Connor in From Ashes, this is the story for you.

  Why I can't wait:
I have a bunch of Molly McAdams books sitting on my Kindle right now. I plan on taking the next available stretch of time to read the crap out of them. One of them is From Ashes. That said, I'd love to have this story to go along with a character I'm looking forward to meeting, even if he's not really the love interest in that one. I just really want to read ALL OF THE MOLLY MCADAMS BOOKS as of late. This is one of them. Therefore, I want to read it. Makes sense, yes? ;)

All right, that's it for me this week! What do ya think? What are you waiting on! If you made a post, link me up!

Adrian. Honestly, I just really want more Adrian. Like, NOW. I'm especially excited for the chapters in his POV. Eeeeeeeeeep! I finished The Indigo Spell a few days ago and now I'm all into this series again and ahhhh. Also, on a less Adrian-crazy front, I'm curious as to how things will go with Sydney's sister and this new guardian guy who just showed up. Especially after having read the first chapter. (I haven't read the second chapter yet. I don't think my mind can handle it yet. I NEEEEEEEEEEED THIS BOOOOOOOOOOOOK.)

Waiting on Wednesday #19 ♥ Two Roads by L.M. Augustine

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine!

Two Roads by L.M. Augustine
Two Roads
Release Date: August 26, 2013

Description from Goodreads:
The only person poetry-loving Cali Monroe hates more than herself is Logan Waters, the geeky kid who lives in the dorm building next to hers.

Ever since Cali's parents told her she would amount to nothing, she has felt entirely inadequate. Friendless and alone, she takes on the mean girl role in hopes it will make her feel better--and Logan serves as the perfect target. He infuriates her with his obnoxiously long lashes, his all too perfect dimpled smile, and his complete lack of personality outside of his intelligence. It doesn't hurt that he's part of the reason her brother is dead, either. So Cali hates him, and he returns the favor. Thus, their prank-filled, insult-driven rivalry is born, and torturing Logan quickly becomes the highlight of her life.

But when Cali's parents set them up on a blind date, she begins to realize Logan might not be as boring as she always thought. He shares her love of poetry, takes a sadistic pleasure in making fun of crepes, and he makes her blush when he calls her smile pretty.

And hey, maybe those long lashes of his aren't that obnoxious after all…
Why am I waiting on this?
I have several reasons. I think I started on them in my cover reveal post for this book. I think. But anyway, let me list them for ya:
- I adore New Adult. And this book? Is New Adult.
- This author? Wrote Click to Subscribe, which was pretty much the first book I read this summer and was FANTASTIC.
- "And hey, maybe those long lashes of his aren't that obnoxious after all..." I can't even tell you how happy that line makes me. I don't even know why I like that line so much, but I just DO.
- Okay, guys. You know me. ROMANCE, hello.
- LOGAN HAS DIMPLES! I LOVE DIMPLES.
- I'm totally going to love Logan. I can feel it.

And I'm going to stop there because...well, because I can. And that was a good list of reasons as to why I am excitedly waiting for this book, eh?

What are you waiting on this week?! Let me know!

That's how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn't want her and going to a school that doesn't understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn't get her, but does....

Waiting On Wednesday! (16) ♥ Ashes on the Waves by Mary Lindsey

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we tell y'all about the books we cannot wait to get our hands on!
Ashes on the Waves by Mary Lindsey
Expected Publication: June 27, 2013
Publisher: Philomel/Penguin

Description from Goodreads:
Ashes on the WavesLiam MacGregor is cursed. Haunted by the wails of fantastical Bean Sidhes and labeled a demon by the villagers of Dòchas, Liam has accepted that things will never get better for him—until a wealthy heiress named Annabel Leighton arrives on the island and Liam’s fate is changed forever.

With Anna, Liam finally finds the happiness he has always been denied; but, the violent, mythical Otherworlders, who inhabit the island and the sea around it, have other plans. They make a wager on the couple’s love, testing its strength through a series of cruel obstacles. But the tragedies draw Liam and Anna even closer. Frustrated, the creatures put the couple through one last trial—and this time it’s not only their love that’s in danger of being destroyed.

Based on Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling poem Annabel Lee, Mary Lindsey creates a frighteningly beautiful gothic novel that glorifies the power of true love.
Why I'm SO EXCITED for this: I'm going to list them, okay?

1. I've met Mary Lindsey. I LOVE THAT LADY. She's so nice and I can't wait to see her again!

2. I've read Shattered Souls by Mary Lindsey. That book? So sweet! So of course I have to read another Mary book.

3. "Based on Edgar Allan Poe's chilling poem Annabel Lee" Guess who has an obssession with that poem? Yeah. ME. Seriously. I pick it up and read it aloud to myself all the time because I love it that much. So a whole book based on it? MY KIND OF BOOK RIGHT THERE.

4. And this ties in with #3, but oh well--I'm a Poe fan. I really, really am. Ever since we had to read The Tell Tale Heart in 8th grade. He fascinsates me, and his stories are so creepy, but epic at the same time.

5. I am spazzing about this book right now. Like, bouncing up and down excited. That's always a good sign.

And goodness...June is so far away. I CANNOT WAIT.

The Rules by Stacey Kade
Expected Publication: April 23, 2013
Publisher: Disney-Hyperion
Series: Project Paper Doll #1

Description from Goodreads:

The Rules (Project Paper Doll, #1)1. Never trust anyone.

2. Remember they are always searching.

3. Don’t get involved.

4. Keep your head down.

5. Don’t fall in love.

Five simple rules. Ariane Tucker has followed them since the night she escaped from the genetics lab where she was created, the result of combining human and extraterrestrial DNA. Ariane’s survival—and that of her adoptive father—depends on her ability to blend in among the full-blooded humans in a small Wisconsin town, to hide in plain sight at her high school from those who seek to recover their lost (and expensive) “project.”

But when a cruel prank at school goes awry, it puts her in the path of Zane Bradshaw, the police chief’s son and someone who sees too much. Someone who really sees her. After years of trying to be invisible, Ariane finds the attention frightening—and utterly intoxicating. Suddenly, nothing is simple anymore, especially not the rules…

Why I cannot wait for this book: Read that description. Does it or does it not sound like something I would just LOVE?!! Sorry to be sucha  girl, but...rule #5...that's the one that gets me the most. And, there's a boy names Zane. The name Zane always seems to get to me. I have no idea why, but it does. This book looks like it's going to be a blast to read, and I can't wait to get my hands on it! AND, I read The Ghost and the Goth trilogy, and Stacey Kade is awesome. That is all.

What are you waiting on this week? Anything I'd spaz over?

Things I Can't Forget by Miranda Kenneally
Expected Publication: March 1, 2013
Publisher: Sourcebooks Fire

Description from Goodreads:
Companion to Catching Jordan and Stealing Parker.

Kate has always been the good girl. Too good, according to some people at school—although they have no idea the guilty secret she carries. But this summer, everything is different…

This summer she’s a counselor at Cumberland Creek summer camp, and she wants to put the past behind her. This summer Matt is back as a counselor too. He’s the first guy she ever kissed, and he’s gone from a geeky songwriter who loved The Hardy Boys to a buff lifeguard who loves to flirt…with her.

Kate used to think the world was black and white, right and wrong. Turns out, life isn’t that easy…

Read an excerpt here.

Why I seriously CANNOT wait for this book: I adore Miranda Kenneally. Seriously, I do. Both of her books so far have been amazing and I am so excited to read her next book. Plus, she said that Matt, the guy in this one, is hotter than both Sam AND Will. If that's even possible. Alas, she said it is so, so I shall be the judge of this. AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS.

What are you waiting on? Anything epic?

Waiting On Wednesday! (12) ♥ Just One Day by Gayle Forman

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we tell y'all about the books we cannot wait to get our hands on!

Just One Day by Gayle Forman
Expected Publication: January 8, 2013
Publisher: Dutton Juvenile
Just One Day (Just One Day, #1)
Description from Goodreads:
A breathtaking journey toward self-discovery and true love, from the author of If I Stay

When sheltered American good girl Allyson "LuLu" Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance of Twelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of those confines.

Just One Day is the first in a sweepingly romantic duet of novels. Willem’s story—Just One Year—is coming soon!

Why I'm waiting on this: If I Stay and Where She Went were two books that just got to me in the very best way possible. I honestly cannot wait to read more from this author. So, there's the fact that this is by Gayle Forman, and there's just the simple fact that the description looks terrific. Seriously, I'm excited for this one.

Waiting On Wednesday! (11)

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we tell y'all about the books we cannot wait to get our hands on!

The Collector by Victoria Scott
Expected Publication: March 12, 2013
Publisher: Entangled Teen

Description from Goodreads:
The CollectorHe makes good girls...bad.

Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence has made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple, weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.

Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:

Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within 10 days.

Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky, Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect—he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector, and uncover emotions deeply buried.

Why I'm waiting on this:
First, I must protray my frustration. I am always late to these parties--how is it that I am just NOW getting caught up in all the Dante Walker awesomeness? Grrrr. Still, THIS BOOK LOOKS AMAZING. Dante Walker is definitely a character I want to get to know, and it's sad that I have to wait all the way to March to do this. I AM DYING FOR THIS BOOK! Ah!

Also, this release date is EXACTLY a month after my birthday. Just a fun fact for you ;)

What are you waiting on this week? Let me know in the comments!

Waiting on Wednesday! (10)

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we tell y'all about the books we cannot wait to get our hands on!

Altered by Jennifer Rush
Expected Publication: January 2, 2013
Publisher: Little, Brown & Co.

Description from Goodreads:
Altered (Altered, #1)"A story that starts with a girl and a boy. A girl who loves a boy so much , she'll risk anything for him. And a boy who knows only one thing--- kill anyone who stands in his way.

When you can’t trust yourself, who can you believe?"

Everything about Anna’s life is a secret. Her father works for the Branch at the helm of its latest project: monitoring and administering treatments to the four genetically altered boys in the lab below their farmhouse. There’s Nick, Cas, Trev . . . and Sam, who’s stolen Anna’s heart. When the Branch decides it’s time to take the boys, Sam stages an escape, killing the agents sent to retrieve them.

Anna is torn between following Sam or staying behind in the safety of her everyday life. But her father pushes her to flee, making Sam promise to keep her away from the Branch, at all costs. There’s just one problem. Sam and the boys don’t remember anything before living in the lab—not even their true identities.
Now on the run, Anna soon discovers that she and Sam are connected in more ways than either of them expected. And if they’re both going to survive, they must piece together the clues of their past before the Branch catches up to them and steals it all away.

Why I'm waiting on this:
Three reasons--
1. See that first little quote at the top. About a story with a girl and a boy... Well, that alone looks like my kind of story.
2. "There's Nick, Cas, Trev . . . and Sam. . . " I love stories with a bunch of boys and one girl thrown in. Especially when the majority of them are jerks. Because that usually means they're funny. I just have a feeling that there's going to be some humor in this. I am so excited!
3. "But her father pushes her to flee, making Sam promise to keep her away . . ." It doesn't matter what the rest says. What I got from that is "Cute boy promises to do something in the best interest of the girl, and it's amazingly sweet. . . " Because it will be. And no doubt this Sam will be all kinds of attractive. All the boys probably will be.
OH, and I have a fourth reason!
4. This book just looks like it's going to be so much fun! To read AND to review. I mean, look at how much I got out of the description. Goodness knows what will happen once I have the whole BOOK in my hands. Oh yeah, I'm excited!

What are you waiting on this week? What do you think of the boy on the cover of what I'm waiting on? Looks cute, yes? Let me know in the comments!!!

Waiting on Wednesday! (9)

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we tell y'all about the books we cannot wait to get our hands on!

This week, I found a little something that looks so. Good.

Nameless by Lili St. Crow
Expected Publication Date: April 4, 2013
Publisher: Razorbill

Description from Goodreads:
Nameless (Tales of Beauty & Madness, #1)A dark and eerie retelling of Snow White from Lili St. Crow,
New York Times bestselling author of the Strange Angels
series.

Sixteen-year-old Camille doesn’t remember her life before she was adopted by the powerful Vultusino family—the missing childhood years that left her scarred and silent. Now she lives a life
of luxury, protected by the supernatural Mafia Vultusinos, specially Nico, her adopted brother.

But Cami knows that she is not really Family. She is a mortal with a past that lies buried in trauma. And it’s not until a mysterious boy approaches her and reveals scars of his own that Cami begins
to uncover the secrets of her past . . . to find out where she comes from and what danger she now finds herself in.
Why I'm waiting on this--there are a bunch of reasons why this book makes me feel all tingly inside. One being that Lili wrote the Strange Angels series, which is one of my top ten (maybe even top five) favorite series ever. Though the ending was...you know. TEAM CHRISTOPHE FOREVER. Two is that the whole "protected by the supernatural Mafia Vultusinos, specially Nica, her adopted brother" thing looks cool. Then, it REALLY started to look like my kind of book when the description said "a mysterious boy approaches her." Yeah, a boy. And he's mysterious. I just seriously cannot wait to get my hands on this!

Waiting on Wednesday! (8)

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we tell y'all about the books we cannot wait to get our hands on!

This week, I'm waiting on . . .

This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith
Expected Publication Date: April 2, 2013
Publisher: Poppy

Description from Goodreads:
This Is What Happy Looks LikeIn This is What Happy Looks Like, Jennifer E. Smith's new YA novel, perfect strangers Graham Larkin and Ellie O'Neill meet—albeit virtually—when Graham accidentally sends Ellie an email about his pet pig, Wilbur. In the tradition of romantic movies like "You've Got Mail" and "Sleepless in Seattle," the two 17-year-olds strike up an email relationship, even though they live on opposite sides of the country and don't even know each other's first names.

Through a series of funny and poignant messages, Graham and Ellie make a true connection, sharing intimate details about their lives, hopes and fears. But they don't tell each other everything; Graham doesn't know the major secret hidden in Ellie's family tree, and Ellie is innocently unaware that Graham is actually a world-famous teen actor living in Los Angeles.

When the location for the shoot of Graham's new film falls through, he sees an opportunity to take their relationship from online to in-person, managing to get the production relocated to picturesque Henley, Maine, where Ellie lives. But can a star as famous as Graham have a real relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie's mom want her to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs?

Just as they did in The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, the hands of fate intervene in wondrous ways in this YA novel that delivers on high concept romance in lush and thoughtful prose.

Why I'm waiting on this: I read The Statistical Probablility of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith, and that book was so completely sweet! So I'm excited to see what comes next from Jennifer. Plus, that description is just something I cannot resist. My kind of book all the way. I can't wait to get my hands on this!

Waiting on Wednesday (7)

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we tell y'all about the books we cannot wait to get our hands on!

Yesterday was the release day for Onyx. We all know how incredibly happy/excited/etc I was about that. Weeeell, in honor of that, this WoW is for another book by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Plus, I'm really excited for this book, too. I read the first chapters on Jennifer's website, and they were just . . . AH.

So, this week I am waiting on:

Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Expected Publication: September 18, 2012
Publisher: Spencer Hill Press

Description from Goodreads:
CursedDying sucks--and high school senior Ember McWilliams knows firsthand. After a fatal car accident, her gifted little sister brought her back. Now anything Ember touches dies. And that, well, really blows.

Ember operates on a no-touch policy with all living things--including boys. When Hayden Cromwell shows up, quoting Oscar Wilde and claiming her curse is a gift, she thinks he’s a crazed cutie. But when he tells her he can help control it, she’s more than interested. There’s just one catch: Ember has to trust Hayden's adopted father, a man she's sure has sinister reasons for collecting children whose abilities even weird her out. However, she’s willing to do anything to hold her sister's hand again. And hell, she'd also like to be able to kiss Hayden. Who wouldn't?

But when Ember learns the accident that turned her into a freak may not've been an accident at all, she’s not sure who to trust. Someone wanted her dead, and the closer she gets to the truth, the closer she is to losing not only her heart, but her life. For real this time.

Why am I waiting on this? I could give you A LOT of reasons. Lets stick with three, shall we?
1. The description is nothing less than amazing.
2. Jennifer L. Armentrout is nothing less than amazing.
3. Everything Jennifer L. Armentrout writes turns out to be, you guessed it, no less than amazing.
There's a reason she's my favorite author, folks.

All right, so what are y'all waiting on this week? Tell me in the comments!
