I do not know about you, but I want to see that chapter. And if Dante DOES win, and I DO get to see the chapter, I'll totally be in a good mood. And I might be in a good enough mood to give something away.

Help Support #TeamDante! (Info, Buttons, & Incentives!)

As you already know, I am Dante Walker's advocate in the YA Crush Tourney. For those of you who don't know who he is, he is the completely awesome main character in The Collector by Victoria Scott. I adore this book so much, and Dante is one of my favorite book boys EVER. (Remember that list I am honestly in the process of making? The one with Holder and Avi? It also includes Dante.)

 

Even though I'm his advocate, I am definitely not the only person who heart Dante something fierce, and I am also not the only person he needs to win in this tourney. Nope. I need YOUR help. So I made THIS FORM, and let you guys sign up, and...you guys are so awesome. Thank you to everyone who has filled out the form and wants to help Dante. If you haven't filled out the form yet, you can fill it out now RIGHT HERE.

I'm going to be sending out a confirmation email on Sunday (and by "Sunday," I mean tomorrow) to everyone on the list, so if you want to be on this email list, sign up now! The form won't be taken down or anything, but after I send the confirmation email (which I will totally tweet about, so be on the look out so you know when you're supposed to get it!), I won't be checking out the responses to the form until Dante's next match.

 

Which leads me to my next piece of info:

 

Dante's first match is this Monday, June 17th!

 

MONDAY! And he's against The Darkling. It's going to be a tough battle, you guys. We're going to need all the support we can get! Please stop by the YA Sisterhood blog that day and vote for our boy Dante. He's just so darn great, ya know?

 

And this leads me to buttons! A few people have been awesome enough to make buttons! They are all so freaking awesome, I cannot stop smiling. I'm going to put them all here, and you can totally grab one to sport for the duration of the tourney. It would make not only me, but Victoria Scott (and I'm sure DANTE) so glad to see them. 3rd Annual YA Crush Tourney--Team Dante!

 

Hey, y'all! So you've heard of the YA Crush Tourney, right? I'm fairly positive I posted about it last year at least a little. If you've never heard of it, it is this super cool tournament hosted by the YA Sisterhood where we nominate all our favorite YA book boys (which has already happened this year), and then we vote for them during their matches and hope to goodness that they win.

 

But there's also another little factor in there, one that some people don't know about. What is that, you ask? THE ADVOCATES.

 

What is an advocate, you ask? An advocate is a person who supports a book boy and does their very best to get their book boy to win and make it as far in the tourney as they can. Ideally, they win!

 

Why am I telling you this? Simple.

 

I am the advocate for Dante Walker!

 

 

YES! I get to help out my boy Dante. I am sooooooooo happy about this!

 

But again, why am I telling you this? Because, you guys. An advocate does not work alone. They need the help of ALL of the Dante fans out there to get him far in this tourney. We need people to make buttons and to tweet and post on facebook and convince EVERYONE to vote for our boy.

 

So I'm asking for your help. If you want to help me help Dante win his matches and do AWESOME like the AWESOME bad boy he is, fill out this form.

 

I have pretty much no life. So other than reading and blogging and now Dante-advocating (if advocating is even a word...), I don't plan to be doing much any time soon. So when you sign up on the form, and you check the boxes for it, I will let you know when it is time to vote. I'll let you know how Dante did, or how he's doing (if I know), and if I need someone to help me out with something specific. I understand that it can be hard to keep up with the tourney, and having the links and dates sent to you can be EXTREMELY helpful. So as Dante's advocate, I'm totally willing to send that to you.
