Okay. Okay okay okay. Frigid. Book trailer. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
First, look at the book. I swear, it's pure awesomeness.
Frigid by J. Lynn Release Date: July 15, 2013 Publisher: Spencer Hill Contemporary Buy It:Amazon | B&N
Description from Goodreads: For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.
Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.
But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.
And now, I can show you the trailer! YAY!

1. Have you added Dante on Goodreads yet? Because if you haven't...urm. Yeah. DO IT. Here's what'll happen if we get enough adds:
4,000 adds by December 31, 2012 = exclusive excerpt provided to all Family members to read, post on their sites, etc. 4,500 adds by December 31, 2012 = exclusive trailer (approved by Dante himself) provided to all Family members to watch, post on their sites, etc. Current Total = 3,225
2. Did you see Victoria's announcement? Dante is going to be sold in big, happy places!!!! (Ha, I just realized that I refer to this book as "Dante" and awful lot, don't I? It's called THE COLLECTOR, people. I hope you know that.) Anywho, this is a BIG. DEAL. Seriously. *squeee!*
To see Victoria's crazy town announcement, click HERE
3. If you actually looked at the crazy town announcement, you should know this, but if you are lazy (LIKE ME) and didn't I should tell you this...THE COLLECTOR's release date? It's not on March 12, 2013 anymore. *cries* It got pushed back.
The new release date for THE COLLECTOR is April 2, 2013.
I was sad about this, but I got over it. It's only three weeks. Plus, this will make Dante more accessible so we gush about it to more people! The sad part for me, though, is that the release won't be one month after my birthday anymore. No fun Victoria Scott things around birthday time. But we all shall live. :)
Now, for Daemon...
No, this is not at my house. HA, I WISH. No, this is at Jen's. Yes. Jen's. As in Jennifer L. Armentrout, my favorite author EVER. She got all this gorgeousness in the mail on Friday.
I know what you're thinking: "What is she gonna do with it?" I thought the same thing. I mean, all that awesomeness in one house would surely cause something to blow up, right? THOSE POOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES. But Jen's already told us what she's going to do with some of that Daemon-ness.
She's giving some of it away.
WHAAAT?!?!
You heard me. She's being her sweet, generous self and giving three copies away, plus some beautiful Lux swag!!
How do you enter, you ask?

If you're still here, I just want to make one more quick comment: I love what she titled that post. "Want To Read OPAL?" Hehe.
Now, if you're STILL here, I'm going to tell you this: the OPAL trailer was revealed this week. Um, yeah. If you haven't already seen (though you probably have, because it was EVERYWHERE on the blogosphere on Wednesday), you can see it here!
I am so, so, SO glad to be one of the bloggers revealing the Opal book trailer today! I'm fairly confident you've noticed how much I love JLA, right? BECAUSE I DO. She's awesome, and her books are the absolute best.
But before I get going on and on about that, I'll just stop and get to the point.
THE OPAL TRAILER! Because it's...I have no words. I'll just show you, so you can get what I'm spazzing about...
I love this trailer. I really do. It recaps the first two books, AND makes Opal look like it's going to be so beyond words. Which I suspected all along, but...well, it just seems more real now, right?
What do YOU think of the trailer?

Do you want to participate in Teaser Tuesdays? It's simple and hosted by MizB from Should Be Reading. All you have to do is:
-Grab your current read
-Open to a random page
-Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
-BE CAREFUL NOT T INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
-Share the title & author, too, so that the other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
All right. So. ONYX RELEASES TODAY!!!!!! I have been so incredibly excited about this since the moment I finished Obsidian. At the time I'm writing this post, I don't have Onyx yet, but I AM doing a teaser from Onyx.
"His lips tipped up one side and he leaned toward me, his mouth inches from mine. 'Come and get it.' Come and get...? Daemon placed half the cookie between those full, totally kissable lips. Oh, holy alien babies everywhere..." ~pg. 6, Onyx
Yeah. Reading about that cookie never gets old, does it?
Another thing--isn't that cover AMAZING? I know. It totally is. I could look at it all day.
Okay, so now since we read that teaser, I KNOW we want to see the trailer again, yes? I originally posted the trailer (along with the trailer for Obsidian) on Sunday (click HERE for the link). Mmhmm, before I even explained my absence. It's called priorities, people ;)
Seriously, here's the trailer again for your/my/all of our viewing pleasure.
That's all I have for today. I hope you all have a very wonderful Onyx release day! Feel free to share some of your teasers in the comments, and I'll get to them when I get done drooling over that trailer.
I've been away for a while, and I promise you a post with an apology, explanation, and quite possibly a giveaway very, very soon. But for today, I must post these trailers.
Why?
BECAUSE THESE BOOKS ARE AMAZING.
Truly, they are. And the trailers? So great. Seriously, like, clapping-my-hands-together-jumping-up-and-down-and-squealing-a-little-bit great. Which I suppose makes "great" a bit of an understatement. But you get my point. Or, if you don't, you can watch the trilers for yourself!
First, the Obsidian trailer:
*fans self* Yeah. How can one not love Pepe and Sztella? They are the PERFECT portrayals of Katy and Daemon. EEEK! Such a great trailer.
Now, for the Onyx trailer:
Mmhmm. I cannot wait to read this book. TWO. MORE. DAYS. I may spontaneously combust between now and then. So amazing.
All right. That's what I had to show y'all for today. What did YOU think of the trailers? Truly amazing things, I know. Be on the look out for my post where I apologize/give things away/etc. It'll be posted either tomorrow or Tuesday. But probably tomorrow because I'm most likely going to need Tuesday to gush. Still, not sure, though.
Hey, everybody! So, today I'm having a fun little cover reveal! The new cover for My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris! But before I show y'all the cover, I'm going to show you some super nice other things. Pretty much, this post is PACKED with lots of nice things you may (totally will) like to see. Plus, if you stick around, there's a little surprise at the end of this post . . . ;)
First, let's learn a wee bit about the author, yes?
Rachel Harris
As a teen, I threw raging parties that shook my parents' walls and created embarrassing fodder for future YA novels.
As an adult, I read and write obsessively, rehash said embarrassing fodder, and dream up characters who become my imaginary friends.
When I'm not typing furiously or flipping pages in an enthralling romance, you can find me homeschooling my two beautiful princesses, hanging out with my amazing husband, or taking a hot bubble bath…next to a pile of chocolate.
MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEENTH CENTURY is my first novel. I did have my own fantabulous Sweet Sixteen in high school. Sadly, it wasn't televised.
-All right, now for the blurb!-
On the precipice of her sixteenth birthday, the last thing lone wolf Cat Crawford wants is an extravagant gala thrown by her bubbly stepmother and well-meaning father. So even though Cat knows the family's trip to Florence, Italy, is a peace offering, she embraces the magical city and all it offers. But when her curiosity leads her to an unusual gypsy tent, she exits . . . right into Renaissance Firenze.
Thrust into the sixteenth century armed with only a backpack full of contraband future items, Cat joins up with her ancestors, the sweet Alessandra and protective Cipriano, and soon falls for the gorgeous aspiring artist Lorenzo. But when the much-older Niccolo starts sniffing around, Cat realizes that an unwanted birthday party is nothing compared to an unwanted suitor full of creeptastic amore.
Can she find her way back to modern times before her Italian adventure turns into an Italian forever?
Am I the only one that seriously wants to read this book now, after that description? I don't think I am because this book looks fun!
Okay, so I suppose it is cover reveal time, yes?
. . .Tah-dah!
Preeeeeeetty! Certainly something I'd like to have making my shelf b-e-a-u-tiful! I think it is fabulous. What do you think?
All right, now I have something extra for everyone who is sticking to reading this post. . .
I have an excerpt! That's right, a NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN excerpt!
Never-Before-Seen Excerpt from MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEENTH CENTURY:
“I thought I'd teach you a dance from where I come from,” I tell him. “One that's much easier than that multi-step mess inside.”
I place my left hand on Lorenzo's shoulder and slip my right one into his. I pause to listen to the music floating over the tinkling voices and bubbling fountain, and begin counting the three-beat tempo. “One, two, three. One, two, three.”
I stand still, only my head moving, slowly nodding with my words so he can hear the rhythm.
When his head begins subtly bobbing with mine, I show him how to add his feet. He takes a tentative step forward with his left while I step back with my right, then we side step, close, and repeat the steps with our other feet, all while I lightly whisper the beat count.
The breeze picks up, blowing my skirt and skimming my veil across the back of my neck. Chills run down my spine, but the warmth coursing through my veins from being in his arms provides a delicious contradiction.
Lorenzo continues nervously darting his eyes to our feet, but he is dancing. As he relaxes into the movement, his shoulders rising and falling with the steps, the confidence he always seems to exude creeps back on his face, and he tightens the hold around me. Our faces are kissably close, our lips a hairs breadth away from touching. I stare into the chocolate depths of his eyes and the rest of the ball fades away. The only music guiding our steps is my light whisper and the erratic rhythm of our breathing. Time slows. Lorenzo grins.
“I think you got it,” I say breathlessly, running my hand along the soft fabric of his shoulder, feeling the rock-hard muscles underneath.
My body curls inward, pressing against his. The proper form for the waltz is a straight spine and shoulders back, but if there was ever a time to break the rules, this is it.
AWWW! Why did it have to end there? *sigh* GREAT excerpt, in my opinion.
Now it's time for the book trailer! I always find book trailers amusing, for some reason. Let's see what we've got this time, shall we?
I liked that trailer. Especially the music in the beginning. And, urm, the picture of the gorgeous boy in the middle. Hehe.
Okay, moving on yet again . . .
I TOLD y'all that there would be a surprise at the end of this post. Well, here it is - a giveaway! It is not mine, though. It is being hosted at YA Bound! Buuuut, I also have the widget, so you can just fill the Rafflecopter out here and be good to go!
All right, thank you all for taking a look at all of these nice things today! There was so much goodies in this post! Good books always make for a great time. :)
