Top Ten Tuesday: Book Boyfriends!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!

 

This week is a rewind week, and we get to do a topic we missed or want to revisit. For the record, this topic was actually "Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character". But I shortened it. Because I can. And because, come on, that's what that topic REALLY is.

 

So yeah. I was bummed I didn't get to do that one, so I'm doing it now. YAY.

Daemon

   

I know. You're all SHOCKED. But some ON. Have you read these books? Have you seen that face? Perfect combination. PERFECT.

 

Dante

  

Ahhh, Dante. What can I say? My boy's got swag for days.

 

Christopher

 

Okay, ready? Accent. Sweetness. Adorable. How can I not heart him? I'm on his team ALL THE WAY. So much love.

 

Daniel

   

My LITERAL book boyfriend. He's kind of awesome and funny, too. Can book 3 land in my inbox already so I can have more? PLEASE?!?!

 

Adrian

   

This boy has charm. No pun intended...okay, I didn't intend the pun, but now that I noticed it, I kind of feel like acting like it WAS intended...

 

Dean

I called dibs on Dean, like...forever ago. I intend to keep those dibs. Because Dean? Is awesome. We've done a couple of character interviews and they were SO. AMUSING. Ha.

 

Seth

   

DON'T YOU JUDGE ME. I can't help my feels, y'all. Seth is just...so...I don't know. I was mad at him after Deity like everyone else, but I can't help but love him. He won me over in Pure. <3

 

Christophe

   

Man, this feels weird, since I started with the second book instead of the first. But these have my favorite Christophe moments. I think the end of Jealousy--you know the part, with the lightning and no shirt?--was my favorite Christophe moment. I'm not positive, though. because in Defiance, there was that one particular part that made my heart flutter...and then in Betrayals there was that fire thing...I can't even. I miss this guy so hard, y'all.

 

Aiden

   

I've only read the first book in this series (though I am DYING to get my hands on the other two!), but Aiden is just one of THOSE book boys. Had me from the moment we met him. He is perfection in a kilt. *SWOON*

 

Conrad

   

This trilogy put me through the wringer. I was THISCLOSE to being Team Jere in the end. But then what he did in the last book...it just kind of ruined the illusion of perfect Jere in my mind. So I stuck with Team Conrad. So, technically, I was ALWAYS on his team. Almost swicthed, but changed my mind. And there we have it. Conrad, my boy. My heart is so full.

Nate

 

Ahh, my boy Nate. Remember my character interview with him? That may have been my favorite character interview EVER. And he's not included on the book boyfriend list because he and I decided we'd be BEST FRIENDS. Therefore, it would be sooooo not appropriate to have him on that list, as much as I want to put him there ;)

 

Also, I owe him a pet tiger, which he will then name Killer because Nate's cool like that.

 

So yeah.

 

Adam

  

Oh, yeah, ADAM WILDE. You didn't think I forgot him, did you? Pffft, as IF. Like I'd EVER do that. No. He's just special to me, so he gets to be down here. Words can't describe what these books--and Adam Wilde--did to my heart. I'll never be the same, you guys. And THAT is why he wasn't in the official list. I miss him, too, like I do Christophe. Possibly even more. I'm not even sure. I'm sure of anything with Adam. He affects me too much. Just...TEARS. Everywhere. If you've read the books, you understand my babbling.

 

All right, I'll just stop right there. Adam Wilde is totally worth rambling over, but there is a time and a place, and it is not here or now.
