Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Books I Read Before I Became a Blogger

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!

**Quick Note: Yes, I used to do Teaser Tuesdays. But now I'm switching it up because...well, because I want to. I could very well go back to teasers sometime, or even do both. We'll see. But for now, I'm really interested in doing Top Ten Tuesday!**

All right, so favorite books from before I became a blogger...hmmm. These are not in any particular order. Seriously. I have no clue what order to put them in. So they're just LISTED.

Twilight (Twilight, #1)
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
I'm not going to lie, Twilight used to be something I was OBSESSED with. I'm not anymore, but back when I first started reading a lot, this book was at the top of my favorites list.

This Lullaby
This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
It is SO. HARD. For me to ever choose Sarah Dessen books. Because I love them so much. I want ALL OF THE BOYS in these books. But Dex...ahhh, Dex. Near and dear to my heart, that boy.

Jealousy (Strange Angels, #3)
Jealousy by Lili St. Crow
I actually read this whole series before I started blogging, but I'm fairly certain this one was my favorite. Christophe is my boy. And I loved how Dru was so kickass. I was always amused with these books. I have so much love for them. This one (and the shirtless Christophe during that one part) included.

By the Time You Read This, I'll Be Dead
By the Time You Read This, I'll Be Dead by Julie Anne Peters
Santana. I seriously consider naming things after this guy. I'm pretty sure the middle name of my first born son (which will be AGES from now, but still) will be Santana. I heart him. But let me tell you--this book? SO. SAD. Goodness. This ending kills me.

The Secret Circle: The Initiation and The Captive Part I (The Secret Circle, #1-2) The Secret Circle: The Captive Part II and The Power (The Secret Circle, #2-3)
The Secret Circle by L.J. Smith
I am a huge L.J. Smith fan. I'm stuck between this trilogy by her and one other for my favorite. Also, the books are a million times better than the show was. And I'm Team Nick. No doubt about it.

Dark Visions (Dark Visions, #1-3)
Dark Visions by L.J. Smith
This is the other L.J. Smith trilogy I adore. I'm not certain of my team on this one. I feel Team Gabriel right now, but I think when I was reading it I was all over Rob. I can't remember, though--this was back in 8th grade, and I'm a junior in high school now. :)

Stay
Stay by Deb Caletti
This is without a doubt my favorite Deb Caletti book. And I LOVE Deb Caletti. Goodness, her book The Story of Us? Makes me cry. Like, horrible ugly cry. And I have no idea why. NO IDEA. This one makes me feel sympathy--and so much swoon--but it's not as uncontrollably emotional. Have I mentioned that I LOVE THIS BOOK?!?!

Hourglass (Evernight, #3)
Hourglass by Claudia Gray
I think this one is my favorite in the series. I'm stuck between this one and Stargazer--because I'm Team Balthazar, and this book is so sweet...either way, I love this series.

Where She Went (If I Stay, #2)
Where She Went by Gayle Forman
Between this one and If I Stay, this one is totally my favorite. Adam...awww, man, Adam. Gayle Forman writes beautiful books.

The Angels Trilogy (Angels Trilogy, #1-3)
The Angels Trilogy by Lurlene McDaniel
Lurlene McDaniel is one of those authors that I will read ANYTHING by. More often than not, her books cause tears. But more often than not, there is also some major swooning involved. Take this trilogy, for instance. The first books that pop into my mind when I think about Lurlene McDaniel. Ethan is AMAZING. But these books...gah, I hate the ending. But the books are still fantastic.

And...that was ten. Huh. I was going to include The Summer I Turned Pretty (Team Conrad!), but I ran out of room. Oops. ;)

So tell me:
Have you read any of these?
Do you like them/love them?
Any you WANT to read?

  2. I am not a blogger but I do love to visit other blogs. When I started reading Twilight remained at the top of my list as favorites but since then it has dropped a few pegs low. I happen to be a L.J.Smith fan too! I love all her books and am still waiting on Strange Fate from Night World. Lord Knows if that book is gonna come or not!
