Dante Walker Playlist♥ (2) +Daemon Invasion Update

I told you I'd make another playlist! Some more spur of the moment wordplay. Or more specifically, DANTE-RELATED wordplay. Fun, right?
Disclaimer: No judging. This is just pure fun and Dante-loving.
Again, I'll link each song to a YouTube video that I did not watch, but DID listen to. It has the song, and that's what matters.
1. "Die Young" by Ke$ha: I wasn't even going to put this song, but it was on the sidebar on YouTube (you know, the suggested videos) and thought it'd actually be a good fit. I mean, dying young. And "take my hand, I'll show you the wild side." (I didn't know those words were in the song until about 30 seconds ago--I was just drawn in by the dying young thing.) Hmm...I've never given this song much listen until right now, and this song is actually perfect for Dante. Listen to it and hear all the Dante wordplay!
2. "Hot" by Avril Lavigne: I'm not even going to explain this one to you. If you've heard it, you understand me already. If not...listen and you'll understand within the first few lines. "I wanna lock you up in my closet..." ;)
3. "Peacock" by Katy Perry: This song is just silly and confident. And makes me think "Dante." So it is on this list.
4. "Misery Business" by Paramore: I have to have a Paramore song on this list. And this song...just the way this song IS makes me think of Dante. "'Cause god it just feel just feels SO good..." Dante, right? That's what I think, anyway.
5. "Perfectly Good Heart" by Taylor Swift: Sorry, but I had to do it. Dante is so...AH, he's so obviously broken some hearts. Enter T-Swift song.
6. "Shake It" by Metro Station: Remember this song? Goodness...this song. I haven't listened to it in forever, but it really does fit Dante. It really, really does. Hehe.
7. "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC: I cannot fathom why this song wasn't on the last playlist. Dante IS the highway to hell, far as I can tell. Plus, it's AC/DC. This band just makes me think of Dante, for whatever reason. Well, Dante and my big brother, but that is not relevant.
8. "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses: I love this song. Did you ever notice that this song is really sweet while at the same time being completely epic? Because it is. And that connects in my mind to Dante.
9. "London Beckoned Songs About Money Written by Machines" by Panic! at the Disco:  I love Panic. And this song makes me think "controversial." Dante isn't exactly a cut-and-dry character himself. "Boy you know it feels good with fire back on your tongue..." That's just one quote that I link in my head to Dante. This is  areally good song, FYI.
10. "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey: Don't Stop Believing. 'Nuff said. ;)
And that is my playlist. Just a few quick Dante updates before I let y'all go:
1. Did you see my pretty new VMafia/Dante badge? I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Hehe.
Wanna see it?

2. Last I checked, we're at 3,146 adds on Goodreads. Remember what'll happen if we reach 4,000 and 4,500. We're so close! So if you haven't added The Collector yet, click on my I ♥ Dante Walker button on my left sidebar and do it!

And...that's it.

Now one quick Daemon Invasion update!

Yeah. In case you haven't heard (though I'm fairly positive anyone who cares about this KNOWS by now...I knew, like, the minute it was announced, ha.), HOUSTON WON. I want to say thank you so much to the people who voted for Houston. Whether it was because you saw my post and voted, saw someone else's post and voted, lived nearby (if that's it, you should email me, so I'll know to look for you!), etc. WHATEVER your reason was. Thank you.

Thank you thank you thank you.

I get to meet that gorgeousness! So those two words are not enough to express how awesome everyone is for voting for Houston.

As I recall, I promised a giveaway. That giveaway is still going to happen. BUT. Yes, there is a "but." BUT it won't happen yet. Why? Because I need to plan it, especially since it's going be international, and Christmas is right around the corner. I have a lot going on for Christmas, you know. Some of it IS blog-related giveaways. So the giveaway will most likely happen in January. Plus, the actual release party isn't until mid-December. Waiting just gives me more time to build up the cool (possibly signed) stuff. So please be patient. The giveaway IS in the works, and it WILL happen. I didn't forget, even though I am the most forgetful person ever. Sometime in the month of January, happy things will happen for all you wonderful people.

Here's Jen's post about the Opal release party, if you want to see it:

Now that seriously is everything. Have a great Saturday!
